Boom Boom Pow and Argentina (Andy)

I am finally going to take a moment or two to comment about the most eventful week and a half of my life!

A couple weekends ago I got MARRIED! Yes it was the best day of my life and I couldn't have pictured it being any better or going more smoothly! All day long the weather was supposed to be horrible, but it ended up being perfect. The sun was hidden behind a cloud cover, it wasn't windy, rainy or cold. Everything went well with the ceremony. The wedding party looked great walking down the aisle and the funniest part was when our ring barer, Greg, stopped and posed for every camera that lined the walkway...hilarious. The best part, however, was when I saw my beautiful bride for the first time in her dress walking down the aisle escorted by her father's. She was breathtaking! My Dad married us and to me that was very special to be able to have my father be in that position and to hold the priesthood and keys to marry us!
The luncheon was amazing...Costa Vida catered...my brothers sang...my uncle made a video that we watched and we had a few people say some things. The reception was also beautiful. We had a lot of people show up, received a lot of gifts and had fun with the cake, bouquet and garter tosses, and even danced a little. There was one set back..but I need not mention it, those who know what I mean will understand that Meg and I felt pretty disrespected. Anyway...after the wedding we headed to SLC and then on Sunday to Vegas and then finally to Havasu where we spent our honeymoon. I had a blast and was able to ride a wave runner for the first time in my life. A funny thing happened about 200 yards off the shore...I was told to watch out for ropes. "Do not run over ropes!" He said (The man who rented us the jet ski) Well as we were driving out to the middle of the lake in the middle of no where a frayed piece of rope grabbed a hold of the propeller and shut us down. So i swam back to the shore, pulling the ski, megan AND and anchor made out of 3 cinder blocks!!!!!!!! Meg thought it was hilarious! Anyway we got that worked out and had an amazing time.

We are now in Nebraska. Elkhorn, Nebraska to be exact. We have finally gotten everything un packed and most of it organized in our house. Which I must admit is very very cool! I had the chance to mow my OWN lawn and it was awesome! The one thing that i wasn't expecting to be so extreme has been the humidity! Wow I sweated more mowing just the lawn here than I ever did mowing a full days worth of lawns in Utah and I guess the humidity wasn't even bad yesterday! Something to look forward to I guess.

My brother got his mission call today and he is going to the Argentina Buenos Ares North Mission and leaves October 14! I am really excited for him and proud!

Anyway I am waisted tired and the reason that this is titled what it is, is because I downloaded boom boom pow just barely...yes I did!

  1. We're glad you guys are safe in Nebraska! I was watching the news this morning and saw that there were tornado warnings all over Nebraska and thought of you guys! Please be careful and don't get blown away! I'm sorry for whatever happened at your reception and sorry we couldn't stay for the rest of the luncheon and reception. Hope you're doing well!
